Sacred Area of Japan is located at the north of Tokyo in Tochigi Prefecture. I like the rough beauty of surrounded mountains, the moving clouds in-between, silky waters of lake Chuzenji and dark pathways in old cedar forest.

Photographs form highland area of Japan with high ridges and alpine landscapes. The weather changes are often and unpredictable there, so the hiking consists of erring in clouds and mist.
